Processing of personal data of our customers

If you have booked a trip with us, we have to process personal data of you as a customer for administrative purposes and, of course, to be able to carry out the travel you have booked, such as making reservations with airlines, hotels and local tour operators. We must also be able to manage your booking and your ‘My TravellingAlbania account’. In addition, we must be able to communicate about your booked trip, you can make invitations for our Travelers Information Days or for other informative meetings. In the event of a calamity, it is also necessary to dispose of these data. The basis for using your personal data lies in the agreed travel agreement that we have concluded with each other. For the above objective (s), TravellingAlbania can request the following personal details:

First Name; Last name-telephone number; e-mail address; Date of birth; Sex; Passport data: (copy or only number and date/place issue, depending on the booked trip).  In some cases we need your passport information for a visa application. It is also possible that we need your passport details for checking in hotels or for reserving a domestic flight or train journey. Or to allow you to travel in certain countries if government agencies require it. Relevant details for the trip and any special dietary requirements. If this information is provided by you, this is of course with your permission. We also use personal data from other travel companions provided by the lead booker. Make sure that they too agree with this and that you can actually provide this information. Your personal data or those of your travel companions are stored by TravellingAlbania for the purpose of executing the travel agreement (booked trip) during the period of the travel agreement. They are stored and used to inform you about the trips, as well as stored and stored in ‘My TravellingAlbania’ so that you also have access to ‘My TravellingAlbania’ after the trip. Processing of personal data of newsletter subscribers

TravellingAlbania regularly sends newsletters to customers and interested parties. If you want to receive the newsletter, you can register via a form on the TravellingAlbania website. Personal data of interested parties for our journeys are processed by TravellingAlbania for the purpose of providing information about our journeys in the form of one or more brochures and/or magazines. On the TravellingAlbania website, you will find an application form for requesting one or more brochures. Provision to third parties

The information that you give to us when booking a trip, we will not provide to third parties unless this is necessary for the implementation of the travel agreement. Think of airlines, hotels, transport companies, and local agencies inside and outside the EU. We never pass on personal data to other parties with whom we have not entered into a processor agreement, with the exception of third parties that are required to carry out your trip, such as local agencies outside the EU and hotels. With these parties (processors), we, of course, make the necessary arrangements to ensure the security of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the information provided by you to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. An example of this is that the police request us (personal) data in the context of an investigation. In such a case we must cooperate and are therefore obliged to provide this information.


We only process personal data of minors (persons under 16 years of age) if written permission has been given by the parent, caregiver or legal representative.

Storage period

TravellingAlbania does not store personal data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was provided or required by law.
